Eye Abstraction

This work is heavily influenced by Len Lye and James Whitney. I wanted to
create a synchronized “scratched film.”

For the process of making this animation, I filmed random objects in motion, then traced each frame. Using the drawn actions I synchronized and compiled them in various ways to Buddy Rich vs Max Roach The Casbah
